On August 20, Shin Shin Youth volunteered at RAFT again. This time the job was not easy; it required a lot of patience and care. Fortunately, our volunteers did everything well. Our job included unraveling thin aluminum wire, stretching it out and smoothing it up, then wrapping it around the rod to make a metal ring. If you thought we were making crafts, you are wrong. The beautiful rings we made are magnet wires, which would be used in physics experiments kits. Therefore, everyone needs to be very careful to make sure there are no knots, no breaking wire. We also helped to make small acrylic pieces, which will be used in some teaching kits. It is always fun to volunteer at RAFT as it is always a creative experience.
