The primary task at the Second Harvest Brennan Center event on July 1st was compressing plastic bags into cylindrical rolls, and packing them into cardboard boxes for more convenient distribution. Altogether, we packed over 350,000 plastic bags for Second Harvest to deliver nutritious foods to neighborhoods across Silicon Valley.
