A Happy and Meaningful Black Friday!

CityTeam’s vision is Restoring lives and rebuilding communities through innovative programs which provide food, shelter, clothing, training, and spiritual transformation. Igniting hope. Restoring lives. These powerful words are at the core of their ministry at CityTeam. CityTeam is founded on meeting local needs. Their programs across the United States offer help and hope to our neighbors in need with hot meals, groceries, shelter, housing and restorative programs, learning and career help, and so much more. Each of the cities has customized programs to specifically meet the needs of local community. On Nov 25, 2022, Shinshin’s volunteers came to CityTeam’s San Jose center to help prepare and distribute dinner. Our volunteers worked together and had a fantastic time. Jaden, Matthew, Grant, Ada, Melody and Christopher, as well as Aunt Emily and Aunt Aibin, all learned a lot! The staff of Cityteam were super awesome and very grateful of our volunteers. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and everyone had a blast!
