The River of Life Foundation, located in Santa Clara County, South Bay, is a public welfare charity. The association has cooperated with the Federal Department of Agriculture and the local Second Harvest of Silicon Valley Food Bank for many years to distribute food to low-income People's Food Pantry public welfare activities. Recently, the River of Life Foundation has expanded its venue and scale, hoping to provide local low-income people better services and care.
Several volunteers from our youth group, Matthew, Jerry, Elliot and Chris, came to the Life River Foundation on Sunday afternoon, March 19th to help distribute supplies. We were assigned different tasks: some delivered goods on the assembly line, some helped carry boxes, and some pushed carts back and forth. The organizer of the River of Life Foundation praised our hard work, seriousness and responsibility!
We love this kind of volunteering - not only helping neighbors in need in the community, but also making a lot of new friends on the job!
